George John Bailey (born 7 March 1982 in Launceston , Tasmania ) is an Australian cricketer , and the captain of the Tasmanian Tigers in Australian first class cricket. He also plays Twenty20 cricket with the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League , having been bought for US$50,000 at the in 2009 and then retained for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Bailey play for Australia against the All Star team in the All Star Twenty20 match in 2009. Bailey was appointed as the permanent captain of Tasmania for the 2009/10 season.
